How did you discover Feed. ?
I discovered Feed. thanks to Pascal Martinot-Lagarde. His testimony made me want to try. I eat everything, by feeling, although I must admit that I have a good fork. When I have to be careful, I work on it, but I never deprive myself! I consume Feed. on a daily basis, when I don't have time to prepare a meal or when traveling, when my food choices are limited. It allows me to regain strength, no matter where I am.
What is your typical day with Feed? ?
On a typical day, I get up around 8am.
8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m .: for breakfast, I eat two slices of wholemeal bread with spread and a smoothie. I am very greedy and I love spread. I eat it every morning. It's my little pleasure.
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m .: I start my day with a cardio or strength training workout.
12 p.m. – 1 p.m .: if I have time to take a real break, I prepare to eat (pasta or rice). On the other hand, if it's a quick break, I prefer to eat a Feed meal. -a bar or a ready-to-drink – before resuming training at 2 p.m.
2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m .: I train with my personal trainer in an individual session. This is not a daily workout.
5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m .: I continue with group training. I don't eat anything between lunch and this workout.
8 p.m .: It’s dinner time. I never skip meals, so even if I'm not hungry, I eat a little something. When I have time, I take time to cook with my boyfriend.
In my free time, I like to enjoy it. I'm rather greedy. I tasted the crunchies at the cinema. I knew I was going to be tempted by popcorn and it was time to try it. It was a week before my competition, I wanted to watch what I ate. So, I tried and frankly, it was perfect. It gives this gourmet side, without making a huge difference.
On competition days, it's a little different.
8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m .: I prepare a savory breakfast: omelette, pasta, rice… At first, it's a little hard but it's a habit to get into and it gives me energy for the fight.
10 a.m .: I start warming up.
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m .: my competitions generally start at 11:30 a.m. and end around 1 p.m.… right during lunch time, hence the interest in refueling in the morning.
2 p.m .: if I can, I go back to the hotel and prepare a meal with starchy foods, proteins, etc., but most often, I settle for a banana, compote or a Feed bar. depending on what I have on hand. In karate, we often have problems with digestion. I don't know why, but it's recurring. We eat. We're training. We eat. We train, without giving the body time to digest calmly. I like Feed. because I digest more easily and quickly. It keeps me from being embarrassed and feeling heavy during my workouts.
