Recognized by the WHO for its medicinal properties, it is used in numerous medications aimed to relieve circulatory problems and improve memory.

  1. It is a neuroprotectant. Ginkgo acts directly on the brain, by optimizing its oxygenation, it helps slow down cellular aging and helps fight memory disorders. Thanks to this action on our brain, its leaves are often used to treat or prevent memory loss, concentration problems and senile dementia.
  2. It acts on blood, venous and capillary circulation. Thanks to its anticoagulant action, it relieves phlebitis, heavy legs, intermittent claudication, dizziness and vascular tinnitus.

Info! Also called a fossil tree, the ginkgo biloba appears even before the dinosaurs. Some of the specimens located in Japan are more than 2000 years old. Incredibly resistant, it is also the first plant to grow back after the bombings in Hiroshima. Considered in Japan as a symbol of growth and longevity, the ginkgo leaf became the emblem of the city of Tokyo in 1989.

Ginkgo Biloba is an immense tree - reaching more than 40m. It has the particularity of not producing flowers, but only small yellow-brown berries. Its leaves are the most easily identifiable. Shaped like a fan, in autumn they take on a magnificent bright yellow color and form a carpet of gold at its feet, which perhaps gives it its nickname “the tree of a thousand crowns”.
