10 golden rules to put all the chances on your side
Drink a lot of water !
All sugar-free drinks are allowed: tea, coffee, etc. On the other hand, fruit juices and soda should be avoided, they add a lot of unnecessary calories to your day. For the same reasons, alcohol should also be limited. Sugar-free sodas are tolerated.
Adapt smoothly.
Adapting to a new diet takes around 3 days. During this period, you can snack on healthy snacks (see next page) in case you feel hungry.
Eat at a fixed time.
Setting a time for the Evening Feed will allow you to eat before you get hungry. The longer you wait, the stronger the temptation to give in will be. Make your Feed. evening a regular appointment.
In case of dining outside.
No problem ! Although it is recommended to replace breakfast and dinner with the Feed meal. Light. It is important to maintain as much freedom as possible. If you have to dine out, then you will replace the first two meals of the day with a Feed. Light. You can even eat a healthy snack in the afternoon to avoid feeling too busy in the evening.
And for those little hunger pangs?
If you feel a little hungry between meals, use healthy snacks. Find some examples on the next page.
Forget the scale!
Getting slimmer does not necessarily mean losing weight. Not all changes are necessarily visible on the scale. So there is no point in weighing yourself every day! Additionally, overnight fluctuations can be misleading but only due to your fiber intake or hydration. Weighing yourself once a week, or even every 15 days, is more than enough to notice real changes.
Promote proteins during free meals.
Proteins have a strong satiating power, so they should be favored during free meals. You will find them in meat, fish, eggs but also many plants which are also rich in fiber and reinforce the effect of satiety.
Sugar: enemy number 1
Sugar calls for sugar and triggers hunger! Unfortunately, it is found in more and more foods, even salty ones. In addition, its hyperinsulinaemic nature promotes fat storage.
Don't go shopping on an empty stomach.
It is very difficult to resist temptation on an empty stomach. Walking through the supermarket aisles hungry is a very bad idea and is guaranteed to come out with much more food (often fatty and sugary) than you need. Likewise, emptying your cupboards of all temptations is the best way to resist them.
Prepare your Feed meals well.
A meal powder that is poorly stirred or with too much water is a guarantee of disappointment! Please carefully follow the instructions and instructions for use in this booklet and on all our packaging.
My day Feed. light
Replacing two meals daily with meal replacements helps with weight loss. (Replacing one meal daily with a meal replacement helps maintain weight after weight loss.)
During your treatment, make sure to eat a varied and balanced diet and not eat only Feed meals. Drink water regularly and in sufficient quantity (1.5L to 2L per day – excluding tea, coffee and infusions)
Self-catering guide
To get the full potential of your treatment and optimize the results, the free meal must be balanced as best as possible without becoming a nightmare to prepare. Nothing is forbidden! All foods have their place in a balanced diet in the right proportions.
Here are some points to keep in mind:
- At least half of the plate is taken up by vegetables (green, red, orange… vary the colors!) These vegetables can be eaten as desired, raw or cooked.
- A quarter of the plate is made up of one or more sources of protein (white meats, lean fish or legumes which are also very rich in protein)
- The last quarter can be made up of starchy foods (preferably complete) but you can also replace them with more vegetables to reduce the calorie intake.
Little extra tip: limit your fat and sugar intake as much as possible (especially during dessert). Instead, opt for a natural dairy product or fruit.
And if I'm feeling a little peckish!
