Will I lose my teeth by having Feed.?

Teeth are the results of millions of years of human evolution and adaptation towards an omnivorous diet.

It would take hundreds and thousands of years of an exclusively liquid diet for your teeth to be affected in any way. Therefore, a liquid meal from time to time is certainly not going to cause any damage to your teeth.

Feed.‘s goal is not to completely substitute more classic diets. Instead, our aim is to offer an ideal alternative for those who do not have the time, energy or desire to prepare more traditional food.

Can liquid food affect my transit?

The amount of liquid present in our liquid food does not affect your stools. Indeed, there are mechanisms of water absorption in the large intestine that regulate the consistency of our excretions. If the foods eaten are rich in water, some of this water will be absorbed and circulated back into the body. Conversely, foods that are too dry or contain a lot of fiber will trigger a release of water from the colon to rebalance the consistency of the stool. As a result, a healthy human will see regular consistency in their stools, regardless of the water content in meals. 

To summarize, if you have diarrhea, it’s unlikely to be as a result of having Feed. meals.

Are powdered meals low in vitamins and minerals?

All Feed. meals have been designed by food nutritionists in order to ensure that each portion provides 33% of the required vitamins and minerals.

Furthermore, we ensure that each of our ingredients retains all of its nutritional properties. Our powders are obtained by simply grinding the raw ingredients. Consequently, they undergo no chemical transformation or cooking. The dry ingredients are obtain through lyophilization, a process that ensures all the nutritional benefits are maintained. 

Nobody has the same needs, how can you guarantee that your meals are balanced?

Our meals have been designed based on the nutritional recommendations for an average adult. That equates to 2000kcal per day. ANSES (French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety) recommends that they be distributed in the following way. 

– 40 to 55% of the total energy intake = carbohydrates,

– 35 to 40% of the total energy intake = lipids

– 10 to 20% of the total energy supply = protein

Our mono-meal bottle formats will provide the necessary satiety for most people. However, an average is, as the name would suggest, not representative of all people. This is why we also offer our powdered meals in multi-meal sachets (650g or 3kg). We also provide lighter meals in the form of bars, ready-to-drink and our LIGHT range. These formats will allow you to adapt your portions to your own individual needs.

As a result, people of all shapes and sizes are almost certain to find something to their liking in our vast range of products.

Why do your powdered meals contain so much sugar?

All sugar selected within our meals have been scrupulously selected.

Most of the sugar is isomaltulose, a carbohydrate that is considered a sugar because of its structure. However, this sugar has a low glycemic index which gives it its satiating power. The digestion of this sugar is slow and therefore does not induce any peaks in blood sugar levels. 

 

Why do you not use coconut oil instead of sunflower oil?

Comparison between the nutritional value of both coconut and sunflower oil:

Coconut oil is almost exclusively composed of saturated fatty acids. They can be damaging to your health when consumed in excess.

Because of the fact that coconut water is considered a health product, coconut oil has been able to find its place in new food trends. Yet, it is almost twice as saturated as the much-maligned palm oil.

Because of its its emollient properties, it is much better suited to being used on skin and hair.

You tell your customers to take a two-minute lunch break. How can you guarantee satiety which only occurs 20 minutes after a meal has been finished?

We provide convenient meals that require little or no preparation and that can be consumed anywhere and everywhere. However, we never tell our customers to wolf down their food in just two minutes.

On the convenient nature of our meals means that you can have them while taking part in other activities.

Besides, it’s not easy to eat one of our meals quickly. The bars require chewing and are relatively consistent. The drinks are pretty thick and are filled with real bits of fruit and vegetable.
