Known for its positive effects on stress and irritability, magnesium also plays an important role in nerve transmissions and muscle relaxation.
Some goodie from Feed.
Article written by Madi Williams on her blog
Feed. is a brand that I love the concept behind and I wanted to introduce you to them today. I don’t think I’ve mentioned them on here before but they have featured over on my Instagram. They got in touch again recently, offering to send me some more goodies which I was very on board with.
The concept behind Feed. is really unique. Feed. is neither a dietary nor an energising product but instead, it’s a complete meal for those who don’t have the time, the opportunity or the desire to cook.
I love that instead of substituting traditional food, they want to offer a healthy and ideal alternative to people who simply don’t have the time or desire to cook. I love cooking but there are some days where I don’t even get the chance to think about food, which isn’t healthy. Feed. has designed these products with health in mind, so you know if you have one of their products to hand, you’re getting all the nutrition that you need.
All of the ingredients used in Feed. are vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, and GM-free.
I think Feed. products would be ideal for people like emergency or hospital workers who don’t get to take proper breaks. They’re also a very healthy option which is perfect for people like my mum. She has to avoid dairy and gluten so trying to pop into a shop to grab something is a nightmare, but these products make it so much easier! She LOVES their vanilla flavored shakes.
I really like their bars, as they have so many different ones available and I find they’re really good to throw in my bag if I have a busy day ahead.
Included in my parcel were two Feed. LIGHT Bars. Feed. LIGHT is something that they have just brought out and features meals that are 100% balanced, gluten and lactose-free and have no added sugar, reduced fat content and fewer calories. I was sent two of their chocolate-coated bars, Sesame and chocolate, and blackberry and chocolate. I have tried the former already and it is really nice, it’s almost got a cakey consistency and the chocolate makes it really moreish.
I also have a few of the regular bars, which I have had before however, I haven’t tried the Coconut Flavor so I’m excited to give it a go. As well as this, I also have a couple of their Feed. Ready To Drink drinks, which are vanilla flavor so I might be giving one to my mum as these are her favourite. I really like the vanilla flavor they use as it’s not sickly or overpowering.
Lastly, I have their new Cocoa & Hazelnut Spread to try (which is currently out of stock, that’s how popular it is!) This is part of their snackable range and provides you with 20% of your Carbohydrates, Fats, Protein, Fiber, Vitamins, and Minerals. I have had a sneaky try already and it tastes quite like a more bity Nutella. It has a wonderful chocolate taste. This spread on toast would be heaven.
Have you heard of Feed. before? What do you think of their products?
