A diet is not a long-term solution
Feed. consumers: Nick’s story
Discover Nick’s daily routine as a videographer and musician
I am a professional musician, songwriter and videographer. I have been working at Warner for over 10 years now. I have written some relatively well-known songs, and, in my opinion at least, some pretty damn good ones!
I started filming more by chance than anything else. I was in a band and we were often on the road. I began filming our tours and making music videos to accompany our songs. I did not really have any experience doing this, so for me it was all about learning while on the job. The more I did, the better I got. That’s when the offers started flooding in.
My work takes me all over the world. My girlfriend works in the same industry. She also has to travel for her work, so we have to organize our schedules to meet in various locations. We’re heading off to Dubai shortly for a shoot in the desert. I guess the only annoying thing with my job is that I have to lug my heavy equipment all over the place.
Nevertheless, I feel lucky that I have this sort of nomadic lifestyle. I never really get to spend that much time at home. I’m always on the go, at airports, on planes and I often have to deal with jet lag.
I discovered Feed. through my girlfriend. She always had a bar or bottle with her. I was keen to give it a go, so I started off taking a bar with me when I traveled. Now, I always have one with me when I am doing a shoot.
I love cooking, going out for nice meals, and wining and dining with my mates. However, I don’t always have the time to make meals for myself. I work so much and my job really does take up the vast majority of my time. That’s why Feed. is so useful for me. A bar here, a bottle there and I am good to go. It helps me be as flexible as possible with my job.
The future is looking pretty exciting. I have just started my own studio in Paris. I offer companies a full turnkey solution for video production, music composition and voice over. I feel like I am learning new things everyday. I feel this project is as much a personal one as a professional one. I hope that I will gain the opportunity to work with lots of exciting people who will inspire me to improve moving forward.
I guess we’re all a work in progress.
